Foundation extends Home Raffle until September

You still have the opportunity to purchase $75 tickets for the chance to win a 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath town home worth over $235,000. Located in Parker, in the Highlands at Stonegate community, the model home is upgraded with a custom paint package, a kitchen with slab granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and cherry cabinets, and an attached two-car garage.

Four lucky semi-finalists will win one of the following: 6-night stay (including airfare) for two to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; $6,000 shopping spree at Park Meadows Mall; $5,000 cash; or $5,000 furniture shopping spree.

The Douglas County Educational Foundation (DCEF) has extended the Home Raffle program until September 15, 2008. The DCEF intends to sell 10,000 tickets by the new date, raising more than $750,000 to support the District’s Bridge Program, World Language Program and Technology in the Classrooms.

Raffle tickets are available for $75 each and may be purchased by visiting the web site, www.AWorthyInvestment.com, or by calling the Foundation at 303.387.0505.  You can also purchase your ticket at Chaparral High School in the Main Office.

The last day to purchase tickets on-line is September 15. The semi-finalist drawing will take place September 19, with the final home drawing on September 26.

Access Student Information via the web (Parent/Student Access to Infinite Campus)

Reminder to the Community:

During school hours, all visitors are required to show identification in order to enter Chaparral High School. Thank you for your patience in helping keep students safe.

As communicated last year, this is just a friendly reminder that we are no longer mailing out progress grades. To check your student’s current progress, please log onto Infinite Campus. Parents will receive printed versions of progress grades at mid-semester in October and March. Semester grades will also be printed and mailed in December and May.

Infinite Campus Update

The Grade Book and Missing Assignments modules are now open and available via the Parent Portal.

Parents must complete the verification form that is downloadable from the link above or available in the Main Office. The form must be turned into the school in person and a valid driver’s license or identification must be presented to receive your GUID number that will allow you access to your students’ information.
