Naviance Family Connection

CHS uses Naviance Family Connection to enable us to offer a website that you can use to help in making decisions about colleges and careers (http://connection.naviance.com/chaparral.) Family Connection allows you to keep track of the college application process, research colleges, request letters of recommendation, compare GPA, SAT and ACT scores, sign up for college visits and homeroom speakers, enter documents in your personal journal, complete a college game plan, take the personality profile, as well as see your semester GPA, ACT/SAT and AP test scores.

Each student is enrolled and has been assigned an access code. See Mrs. Plucker in the College Career Center or call her at (303) 387-3601 if you are unable to access your personal site. If you have already logged in previously, your user name is your e-mail address and your password should be your student ID number.

Community Service

All Students: To fulfill the community service requirements, students must log 20 hours of volunteer work in service to persons outside of the familiar environment of their homes. They may choose any activities which meet the guidelines outlined on the Community Service form, and must verify their service on the Certificate of Supervision, including the Supervisor and Parent's signatures.

2008-2009 Check in

This year Chaparral has changed its check-in procedure. All the necessary check-in forms will be posted on the CHS website after June 1, 2008. A small packet with check-in information will be mailed the first week of June.Check-in for all students will be July 30, 2008.
